Motsoaledi meets US representatives to discuss funding withdrawal

Health Minister Dr Motswaledi is expected to attend a meeting at the US embassy on Monday to discuss that country's decision to withdraw funding for foreign assistance programmes.
Motsoaledi says the government has not received any communication from the US on the decision.
More than 15,000 South African health workers will be affected by the decision to withdraw HIV/Aids relief.

Do your research, for example as recently we know if South African peace keepers in DRC. South Africa is doing a lot, we are also carrying the African medical burden as you may know many African people come to South Africa for medical attention legally or illegally so we still give them the medical attention they need. So some research, it's a lot we are doing but we are unappreciative sometimes.

Aid means, taxpayers are working free, and then handing that money over to another sovereign, independent country. Aid is NOT a universal right, it is a gift of FREE LABOR from taxpayers . The U.S. elected Trump because of his policies, one of which is deficit reduction. It turns out the U.S. has been giving out trillions of dollars in aid to other sovereign nations. Are any other sovereign nations spending trillions in aid? Eighty years is long enough. The U.S. taxpayers have said….enough! Stop all aid to sovereign countries, including South Africa. Motsoaledi lies. A very small percentage of people fund the current health system. Through their taxes, they provide free care for state hospitals and then still provide their own medical aids to keep pressure off the state system. We have a massive national health service, with free access to clinics and hospitals. Mismanagement by government is the problem, as usual.
