If, like me, you are a Mott fan of old, you will know that the only way to end a Mott gig is with 'saturday gigs'. The lights fade, the crowd cheers and once more we are left with the memories of one of the greatest bands there ever was. At least we still have the albums to listen to and youtube.

Flew over for all 5 shows at the Hammy, never seen so many grown men cry. Might have even had a tear myself. Amazing shows.

I've just finished reading Pete Watts book, The Man Who Hated Walking. I haven't laughed so much since Spike Milligan! I can highly recommend it to any Mott fan! RIP Pete & Buff.

Oh man. What a great group Mott were (are). Hunter magnificent, as usual. Ralph's, wow. Can't put many groups in their bracket. Brilliant.

They really need to take this on a World Tour. A live DVD and a new album would make this old guy very happy. Still kicking ass! Love live Mott the Hoople

Thanks Ofifoto. Just been re-living it all again. I was there 2nd night and last night. Great vids and great sound. The best I've seen on here. The trouble is, every gig I've been to since has seemed tame by comparison. Long live Mott! "Thanks for great trip"

I'm from St. Louis MO and there is this kick ass radio station called KSHE. They have been around since 1967. With that being said almost all the under-rated rock bands from the late 60's70's80's90's are called KSHE Classics. These classics are NOT forgotten around here KSHE plays them all the time. Mott is no exception to a Kshe Classic. Check this station out if you do not believe me. They are online. Just do a Search for KSHE 95

The last song Mott ever did. Mick Ronson originally played guitar. I've always loved this song. Its sentimental and what Ian does the best: makes you emotional. The end of the greatests underground cult band in history.

And how fucking brilliant his last words with Mott were “ goodbye “ and his first word on his first solo album was “Allo!”

That's so special when the crowd won't let it stop. I was recently at an Ed Sheeran concert where they didn't only want it to stop, several of the more physical members of of the audience threw Him out of the window!!
