I was at the match in Paris - it was of the most extraordinary sporting events I've ever witnessed - the tension was unbearable - the French crowd were singing Allez Les Bleus thinking victory was theirs - Ireland were not giving up as they went through phase after phase knowing one error and it was all over - it seemed to go on for an eternity - then that one opportunity finally arrived for Sexton to launch a long range drop goal effort - up high in the air it went and the whole crowd held its breath - it was heading for goal and finally dropped over the cross bar with inches to spare - the ecstatic reaction from the Irish fans in the stadium was an absolute outpouring of joy - The French fans were stunned into silence - What an epic finish and Ireland would go onto win the Grand Slam beating England at Twickers on St Patrick's Day in the snow - Brilliant memories all round.
