I think we are losing our minds with the prices of Vivos sneakers. The ideal would be to train barefoot, a thousand times cheaper but that is not possible in all gyms. That being said, I myself have several pairs of Vivos purchased approximately 4 years ago. They work great but back then I paid about 100-120 euros for them. Currently these shoes are aimed at a market of people with a medium-high purchasing power, paying 190 euros for a Swiss person is not the same as paying 190 euros for an Italian. If you can afford them, they are a good alternative but if you can't (let's be realistic, there are people who CAN'T and still BUY THEM) it's best to opt for more affordable brands. THANXS FOR THE VIDEO.

Love my Vivo's and they have held up well for 2 years. Looking at this model for a regular gym shoe, so thank you for the review. I must agree, $200 is too much for these shoes.

tldr: looks like a normal shoe with a slight tradeoff on function (long toe, slightly narrow). best shoe for "normal" look. vibram five finger kso evo best for function. i found the toe box a little too long (for me) and the pinky toe still a little tight, but they have great heel cup support and are otherwise great. would have liked a wider, shorter toe box, but i get they're still trying to hit the "classic" shoe shape and not look like flippers lol. it's a great tradeoff for both "classic" shoe style and barefoot function, but for pure training purposes the vibram five fingers are still incomparably the best barefoot shoe.

Thanks for doing a video three months later. First impressions are only one point of reference but longer use is helpful. For me personally, I feel like there’s so limited options. I have small feet but the smaller a women’s shoe is, the narrower it is, so my toes are always squished. I need trainers, not running shoes, and there’s just not much on the market for this. My old Nike free trainers worked great but they discontinued that style. I’ll give vivo a try but I think I need a bit more support while still having a wide toe box and this just doesn’t seem to exist.

I see what you mean. The Motus Strength/JJFs are def not the most supportive I will say. If you need something with a bit more support but with width I would recommend having a look at Inov8 tinyurl.com/36rda7vh Unlike other brands their shoes have a width grading which should give you a clearer idea of what the width will be like. Their F-Lite G300 shoe is a v good all-rounder! Hope this helps

Why do you need "support". Don't your feet have muscles you can train?..

Hi bro! My motus flex just came. I got a size 9 there’s a bit of space at the top. How are these supposed to fit your feet? Perfectly or are they designed to have a bit of space for your toes?

What do you think about Motus for HYROX race? (Run, push/pull sled, farmer carry…..)
@ListedFit2 ай бұрын
That's a good question. I personally wouldn't. I would look at shoe like the Inov8 F-Lites or something of that level. Not a barefoot shoe, but much better on the grip side of things. I say that because the grip on the Motus won't be the best for the higher demands of the Hyrox especially for sled pushing and pulling in a competition scenario. But for gym workouts where you're not competing or doing anything too athletically demanding, I think they're OK Hope that helps!
@CHLS8212 ай бұрын
Thank you for your opinion. I had one INOV8 F-Lite but the toe box is narrow for my feet. I have a lot of doubts about barefoot shoes for my first HYROX (I always run barefoot) Then Do you think the Motus grip isn’t enough for Hyrox?😢🤔 is better grip than primus lite 3?
@ListedFit2 ай бұрын
I wouldn't recommend any of the Vivo range for a hyrox competition, they're just not hard-wearing enough in my eyes. Def not the Primus Lites. If you have a Vivo gift voucher that you can't spend anywhere else lol I would say try the Primus Trail. The grip on them is deeper than the lites and would probably do a better job.

Do you think these would be suitable for indoors basketball?
@ListedFit11 ай бұрын
I wouldn't recommend them for basketball because they're not cushioned or supportive in certain areas.
@fregger749 ай бұрын
Thanks for the great review. Do you have any experience playing sports like basketball with them. I want to playing basketball with barefoot shoes and i am not sure which shoes would be good for that
@ListedFit9 ай бұрын
I actually don't think theyre a good pick for basketball, they don't offer much support at all. I think they work best for lifting. I think the New Balance Minimus have a bit more support if your heart is set on barefoot shoes. Hope that helps!

Most barefoot sneakers wouldn’t be suitable for hoops. Lockdown typically sucks, and that’s the tradeoff from having too much room in the forefoot, especially without some kind of lockdown customization tech implemented. And that outsole is gonna wear down so fast smh and for $200? Better off hooping in some chucks or Air Jordan 1.
