As per my experience.it is not needed..as Stavax (DIN 1.2083) ESR . Its basically corrosive resistance and it has hardness range upto 56(+/-2 HRC ) at 1020°C Or it will reach upto 57-58 HRC. So nitriding or solid carborizing suitable for hardness ranges 36-38 HRc ( specially P20/ 718) tool steel or non cromo moly steel. Thank you for asking question

Your Video is more Knowledgeable and get more insight about metal So please make such video And we will appreciate your efforts. 1.Can You please tell us what is the Hardness of MS 2 Can we use MS for Core and cavity if not then Why 3 Why P20 is used for core and Cavity Video is more informative 👌👌👌
@VindyCAD3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. 1, hardness of ms 20-23 HRC 2.you can use for small quantity production.like 200 shots . 3. P20 has tendency to extract and release heat quickly.and has more corrosion resistance and good machinability and polish ability. Thus P20 consider as tool steel preparedness is added advantage

Hi sir, I really appreciate your efforts and sharing in depth knowledge on material selection and material properties. It will be really a great learning for me if you share some case study on core/cavity fracture failure in P20 material etc....
@VindyCAD4 жыл бұрын
hi bro .. thank you for your words.. And i don't have any such case study things.documented.. But i recommend 6 million maximum shots..with good cooling..if you're not using p20 in good condition it will creep and become porous holes..beyond 6M. Use P.20 Ni or 718 Chinese, PAC500 For good stiff and polish finish..

@@VindyCAD actually we have faced breakage issue in new mould even after 3000k shots...we have experienced 3 to 4 incidents till now...could you pls guide how to do case study on this?? So that it can be concluded with some report and standarization for future...no direct jumping to conclusions.....

Hi, Just want to know that is 'S136' steel material good for injection molding mould for PP Material ?
@VindyCAD3 жыл бұрын
If you are not using any fillers in PP material than you can use normal P20 . If having fillers than S136 is recommended as it has good corrosive resistance. But need heat treatment.
