In which I somehow convinced Kayla to teach me four different materials, when I only had to teach somebody one material. Stonks.
This is a very different kind of fare to normal, and took me a lot longer to put everything together but I must say that I am very well-pleased with the end result!

Hi there. Very nice job. Any plans on making the Witcher's medallion (and which version of it) ? Also, out of curiosity, any chance that you'll do a different Witcher armor ? I was more thinking about the more practical "brigandine" one (a bit like the Netflix show, but maybe better looking and more accurate to both the novels and history) ? Because, seriously, as great looking as the leather studded jerkin is, it's seriously questionable in realism and efficiency. Check Shaiversity videos on YT, it'll give you an idea. Otherwise, great video and keep up with the good work.

Thanks for the kind words! I don't currently have plans to make the medallion, I already have a game version of it. I don't have any plans to make a Netflix armour, but I do have a talking head video forthcoming where I touch on it, assuming that its inspiration is the Visby coats of plate.

@@Cxizent Thanks. I don't know about the Visby coat of plate. Seemes a bit primitive and still not practical since all the attachments are by default in the back (same for the Netflix one). I mean, unless you have a squire at your disposal or you're as super powered and flexible as Reed Richards in the Fantastic 4, I think it'll be wiser to rethink it. Some brigandines could be attached at the front (or sides) and could be worn nearly as a jacket (as described in the books) with leather covering the plates (the same for the spaulders, bracers and even shin and neck gards, if I'm not mistaken). I can't say for sure, though, if there was such an armor in the game. Would be worth a try. steel-mastery.com/brigandine-armor and kzbin.info/www/bejne/javLcpuIj992qKM

You did not make it easy for yourself to start with this as your first foray into molding/casting. But it turned out awesome! Or should I not have said that and instead gone with it turned out horrible? 😉 The skillswap in general was such a good idea, I also had loads of fun with mine.
