That would be perfect for me! I live in town and my hunting spot is about 50 minutes away so I usually only go out on the few weekends before season opens, and then take a full week off during hunting season to get it done. If I set it at double, it’ll last me from one weekend to the next and passively feed them for me until I get out to top them back up! I need a hanger because black bears would tear anything on the ground to pieces.

How's it holding up now? Seems good but seeing review that squirrels chew through the lid quite often... Tempted to buy one

@@danielvillagra7292 it's been great working like it should, on its second year now , i can see where the squirrels tried to chew thru the lid but so far they have had no luck

Thanks for the video! Have you ever measured how much corn it throws in one dispensing, or do you know how many days the bucket lasts if set for twice a day?
@nitro38996 ай бұрын
It can be set to throw up to 4 times a day from 1 to 20 seconds. It throws approx. 1 pound every 4 seconds. If you set it to throw for 4 seconds twice a day it should last a little over 2 weeks.

Any issues with it jamming up?

@@Amaces1 I never have. I always buy washed deer corn so I don't get trash in it.

Does the hanging bucket spook deer?
@nitro38994 жыл бұрын
No, I actually hang my game camera on the tree that the feeder is hangning on and take videos of the deer and other animals that come by to feed.

Good video. How long did you have the feed cycle set for?
@nitro38994 жыл бұрын
For the demonstration I believe I set it off for 5 seconds. Normally I set it to go off right after sunrise for 5 seconds and right before sunset for 5 seconds.

@@danielvillagra7292Its still holding up great, its still hanging in exactly the same place it was when I made this video. I did have a squirrel chew on the lid but I guess he gave up because he didn't chew a big enough hold to get inside. I like this feeder so good I bought a second one.

*This is bit of a pain to set up🍇 **allabout.wiki/Moultrie** though I understand why all the pieces make shipping and packing more efficient. The instructions were clear and set up took me about 45 minutes. Everything uses wingnuts, so not tools are required unless you are mounting cameras on the lid. You do need a 6v battery (I had one). The feeder is easy to program and seems quite rugged. I am 6'0" and I can easily open and fill this feeder, which is great.*
