Are the pegs to lock the legs together. Looks like there is a hole in the leg joints.
@SouthernPineOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
The legs do not lock together nor do they lock or bolt into the body of the feeder. I like and dislike this on my property because I don’t keep the feeder in the same area from year to year. So when I go to transport it the legs just simply fall out of the feeder when you lift it up which makes it easy to get into the back of a truck or utv but then you have to put it all back together again at the next location. I still love the feeder and I would invest in the solar panel charger for it.

How long does the battery last
@SouthernPineOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I have 2 models one that takes the 6v battery. That battery lasted about 4 months on one charge I do have a solar charger on it and it lasts 6-8 months now going off 2 times a day for 6 seconds The AA battery feeder I have lasts for about a month with generic batteries set up going off 2 times a day for 6 seconds run time. I hope this helps! And good luck hunting this season!

Nice review I'm looking a purchasing this feeder it holds 200lb right
@SouthernPineOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Yes it will hold right at 200lbs. If you put that much into it I would recommend that it is for sure on level ground before the corn/feed is put in there. Also depending on how bad your squirrels are you may want to get an animal guard at some point as well. I have had more problems with squirrels this year than I have in years past so I may grab a guard at the end of the season. I still enjoy the new feeder and my Moultrie Feeder Pro I got last year as well.

Got home with mine and there’s no battery part...

I would say take it back to the store you got it from and let them know. I bought a jacket from Cabelas earlier this year and got it home and realized it didn’t have a hood like it was supposed to. They took it back and I had to order one online due to they didn’t have another jacket in the store in my size.

Raccoon and squirrel will chew Moultrie Feeders in half. Every new feeder owner's first mistake is buying a Moultrie..
@SouthernPineOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I agree with that! But that’s the case with any plastic feeder. That’s why I have moved mine to the middle of the food plots this year instead of on the edge near the woods. So far no squirrels or coons at the feeder like I had last year.

Beware of the newest ones like this from Moultrie. They have a plastic spinner plate that is total junk. I’ll never buy another one.

I have one that’s metal and the one in this video is plastic. So far so good on both. The metal one is going into its 4th season and the plastic is going into its 3rd season.
