I wanna see what the chickens do when it goes off. Mine would freak. I love the idea and will be watching for Part II. Cheers Alicia and Jim!

I just uploaded the follow up video, friend. It did startle them the first time it went off, but we've been using it for a week now, and they come running when they hear that motor go off !!! I'm not seeing any waste, at all ....they love to scratch and get every last grain. We have it set to go off 4x day. keeps them busy! Thanks for watching :)

Smart to get one of those to feed your chickens while Team weenie watchers are off running wild!

That's the plan! It will hold two weeks worth of food for the coop kids! I'll rest easier knowing they'll get regular feedings throughout the day :) Thanks for watching, friend :)

Put some lubricant on the threads for the battery/timer compartment. I didn't, and it was super hard to open after awhile.

Hi Kevin ... We ordered this unit through Amazon and they shipped it right to our door! I placed a link in the description box for this video... this model was $189 but it's worth it to have it feed my chickens a few times throughout the day! ;) Thanks for watching

Thanks! I little tip, by the way ... it didn't take long for the turkeys to discover that they could spin the dispenser wheel with their beaks!!! They became quite adept at self-feeding...lol The chickens couldn't reach it, but the turkeys had no problem (they're pretty smart!) So, hubby fashioned a small wrap-around from hardware cloth left over from the coop build (it's maybe 4"-5" in diameter and maybe 4" long) and it slides up over the dispensing area. Let's the feed still come out, but keeps those turkey beaks at bay! 😉 😄
