I found this years ago on Vimeo and the song has never left me. I absolutely love it, and want to put it in a play it's so good. The visuals are some of the most vivid I've ever seen with claymation. Definitely one that has stuck with me for over ten years I think.

This video unsettles me in a unique way, it doesn't unsettle me from fear, but from how unusual it is, it's almost beautiful in some unexplainable way with a sense of melancholy however it is also gentle and nothing extreme happens It's like a masterful mixture of the gentle soothing music with the absolutely horrific imagery, it's actually kinda hard to explain

I've been revisiting this video for years and years. In fact, I've likely commented before and have forgotten. There's a beauty here that sucks me in. It's a powerful mix of music and animation that fucking oozes melancholy and I'm quiet for a time after every viewing. Possibly one of the best s.a. animations on the internet.

I listen to this song when I need cheering and calming. Now there is an equally brilliant animation that complements it endlessly.

humanly organised sound. This is only half of the story, however, and is potentially misleading if we conceptualise ‘sound’ abstractly, as an object, divorcing it from the sensuous human activity in which it is necessarily embedded. Music is not an ‘object’ but rather an activity; a point well-captured in Small’s

Why is everybody calling this beautiful? I mean it has its charm but its charm is it being horrific and dreary while also being kinda friendly and disturbing. This is really weird and the closest thin to a bad dream in real life
@napadave585 жыл бұрын
snuggly face Maybe we find it beautiful because we know it gives you bad dreams. One of my favourite animations of all time.
