Thanks for kind words 😊 There is no active lava eruption at mount batur. You can just feel the steam at few places, which says there are lava activity deep inside . No issues with breathing

Hi Ankita, The trek is totally safe and can be done by anyone. Nothing to worry about the safety. And about Bali in general, it is the safest place we have been to. There are small scams related to buy and sell near Kuta and Seminyak but nothing major I would say.

Hey, It was a very informative and well presented video. I am going to Bali with my family in October. Is the total distance from Basecamp to the sunrise point 6 kms? My daughter is 11 years old. Do you think she will be able to complete it , although with breaks? Did you see any kids of this age in your hike to the peak?

Hi Charu Jain, thanks a lot. Correction here, 6km is actually to and fro distance. So it's 3km one way from base to the peak. I saw few (one or two only) kids trekking along. Your daughter being 11yrs shouldn't be a problem to trek. Tell the guide that you would trek with 11yo kid and you need sufficient breaks. The guides are really friendly and cooperative in Bali.

Hi Pooja, I don't suggest this trek with a kid especially if he needs to be carried most of the time. The trek is on a difficult side, so better you skip it completely and add interesting spots like Bali Safari, ATV ride, monkey forest, waterbom, birds paradise etc

Hi nikhil, we got picked up from the hotel at 2.30 am and got back to hotel by 11am. We didn't opt for other activities like hot spring, massage etc. That's why we came back early

Yes, you can do in a single day. But you will be tired, so signup for Mt batur and one more activity. If you have energy you can decide to do the other one on the spot

No bro, we didn't get time to visit Gilli islands, but it's totally worth it. Do try snorkeling there, it's amazing. If you have plans for scuba, gilli has amazing marine life too. You do get speed boats from nusa penida to Gilli islands.

You can book hostels if you are into socialising otherwise book medium budget hotels, Do use scooty for transportation and you will save a lot compared to packages. Hi Surajit, there was no issue from customs for drone. Make sure to keep it in the checkin bag. Not allowed in cabin baggage

Hi Tripura, the trek usually includes 3 long breaks (~10-15min). And you can take a few short breaks at your convenience. The Balinese Massage or Hot spring activity will be after the trek.
