Mount. Elbert 14,433 Feet. Colorado State High Point. Day Hike.

This video is from my amazing Mount. Elbert climb! Mount Elbert is the state high point of Colorado as well as the tallest peak in the Rocky Mountains! This has been on my bucket list for a long time now and I'm so happy I finally got to check it off! Enjoy!

Which trail did you hike up to reach summit? How long did it take you to reach the summit? What elevation level did you start at? I’m asking, because I plan to hike up this Mountain in June. Please reply. Thank you!

I did the north elbert trail. Check out 14ers.com they have very detailed info for all 14er routes in Colorado! It took me a little over 3 hours to summit and you start at about 9600 feet. Good luck!

Hiked it twice and loved it both times. That big peak to your right heading up the trail is indeed mount massive. The trailhead is only a half mile down the same road off to the right. Would love to go hiking sometime if your ever down. I spend most weekends hiking and spend a lot of time in Rocky Mountain National Park. I’m looking at doing the standard route up La Plata this past weekend. I saw a while back I think in your Hallet and Flat too video that you think longs Peak would be too difficult. It is hard but doable if you take your time. I hiked it last year twice and the first time I hiked it it was only my 4th 14er. Be safe
