Mount Hallasan via Steepest Gwaneumsa Trail in Snow & Ice Hail (Full Trail ASMR) in Jeju Korea

Completed this hike back in mid of November. During planning, I was hoping that we could encounter snow during the hike, where we can see beautiful peak covered in snow. However there is big different of hiking the mountain after now and during snow. We started the day with quite pleasant weather only until when we were close to the peak, the weather started to turn windy, raining, snowing and even pouring ice hails. The trail then became challenging under super cold temperature with soaking wet hiking shoes and gloves. The way down using the Seongpanak trail also became challenging with many water flowing down along the trail. Overall, it was a great experience, still able to enjoy most of the great scenery along the Gwaneumsa trail up and glad that we all were safe.
