I like to drive on Mountain Loop road. It has the best nature scenery. The area gets busy in the summertime.

Three times the elevation, three times the distance, glacial travel, biking section, more rugged terrain. Its doable but Three Fingers Lookout is a big step up from this, you'd have to do it as an overnight trip.
