We stayed here at the end of the season last month and had an absolute blast. You seem to have a lot more experience with RV parks than we do so I guess you have higher expectations, but it’s by far the nicest one we’ve been to. It’s definitely geared towards families, with so many things for kids to do. We can’t wait to go back next summer. The kids were in the pools and water slide everyday. The pools and slide were freezing even on a hot day, but it didn’t stop a campground full of kids from enjoying them. We were given a spot up on the hill. Will definitely try and book a spot down below in the future. We rented a golf cart and that was fun to get around the park and explore. The location was close to Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. We didn’t try the restaurants but enjoyed the all you can eat pancakes a couple of mornings. The bathhouses are really old and not nice but that would really be my only complaint I think. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay there, but it seemed like every family with kids really enjoyed it, including ours. There was so much we didn’t get a chance to do that we look forward to doing next time.

I totally disagree with most of your negative review. We loved this campground and would definitely come again! We used to work at a KOA and completely understand the KOA vehicle traffic, especially in a park that is 110 acres. Maintaining a campground is a constant busy task. I agree that the escort process needs improvement. The young individuals cooking pancakes did a great job and they are J6 exchange students trying their best. We enjoyed the food at the Peak restaurant.

i very rarely poat negative reviews. this is actually the 2nd video. the first one i filmed was 30 minutes with all the negativity of our experience. This is the less -negative version of the video. This campground has the potential to be awesome but the execution / management clearly is struggling compared to then other 50+ koas we have been to and 5 koa resorts

I will be tent camping there, I saw a lot a reviews but I want to see what you think, how is the bathrooms for all the campers? I may have missed heard you if you talked about them
