I didn't know the impact this man had. I only knew La Brume Azur as a cool ambient album that I found in college a while back that then became a bit hard to find. Does anyone have any recommendations for more of Cesar's work or projects that were inspired by his work?
@pwnisher11 күн бұрын
Oh man! Yeah absolutely! You honestly cant go wrong with ANY of his music, it’s just a matter of finding all his various aliases and projects. Here are the ones i know of and absolutely adore: Mount shrine (of course) for the melancholy, peaceful ambient. Check out albums like winter restlessness, ghosts on broken pavement and shortwave ruin. His collab album with alphaxone is great too (dream chambers) Then he has lots of little EP’s that Cryochamber compiled in an album called Lost Loops Collection. Check out the EP’s homeless rooms and southeast limits (both compiled in lost loops) Mount Hibiki: Cesar has lots of aliases and other projects and this is one of them. Cesar released three albums as Mt. Hibiki and this video here compiles them all together. Lindsheaven Virtual Plaza: i don’t know much about vaporwave, but cesar apparently had a big hand in leading the charge in this genre. The album NTSC memories took a couple listens for me to really enjoy, but its one of my all time favs now. Rainforest Hill Vol 1 and 2 is also a gem of an album. Kagutaba: downright JAMMIN electronic music. Idk how ud define the sub genre but my god. Cesar is a beast!! Its the self titled album and basically reminds me of PS2 racing music. It’s just so good. Yasu Ether: is another project of his. This one i dont have too much replays on, but know theres a couple gems in there. You can find it on his band camp. But when in doubt go to discogs and look up mount shrine (or cesar alexandre) and look at his profile. It’ll show you ALL of his projects. Happy digging!! I know you’ll find some great stuff!

2h40 of a name I thought I'd never see again, what a unique and touching way to say goodbye from the other side! EDIT: I started writing my trip report at the beginning, the video is done yet I am not, almost 3h wasn't enough. People if you want to live a crazy adventure, find people you can trust and try psychedelics with them, be it LSD, shrooms or DMT, they're not toxic nor addictive. Read extensively, prepare yourself accordingly, be responsible, open, honest, kind, and you will open the door to a world of wonders, that however dangerous it may seem, is worth exploring. Do it right and you will grow as a person in ways you've never imagined.
