I love the addition of all the brass instruments to the folk songs. Such a rich sound!

Beautiful song. Fuses the purity of folk with the romance of jazz.

saw this at the RFH last December and coupled with the Molly Drake audiovisual; tour has made me a raving fan. Loosely termed folk, this is much more than that. If Charles Hazlehurst and the Para Orchestra are involved it must lie in the classical Genre.

I always think that when they changed from Rachel Unthank and the Winterset to The Unthanks, that they did Niopha Keegan a disservice. Niopha, for me is the backbone of The Unthanks. A beautiful voice and amazing musician. No offense to Becky but for me, the Unthanks are Rachel and Niopha and Becky

Wow, this is quite wonderful. How such talent can pass unnoticed -- is it because it is not all hyped and over-produced? I am just thrilled to know about the Unthanks -- as of yesterday. Without people such as yourself who generously post on KZbin I would still be oblivious of this great music. Thank you.

Lyricd i'll mount the air on swallows wings to find my dearest dear and if I lose my labor and cannot find him there i quickly will become fish to swim the roaring seas i love my lord because i know my love for he loves me Ill mount the air on swallows wing to find my dearest dear and i lose my labor and cannot find him there i quickly will become fish to swim the roaring seas I love my lord because I know my love for him he loves me. I'd comb the air and ocean deep to find my dearest dear in all my days and empty nights i cannot find him there I swiftly will become a deer and scan the heavened moors ill find my love before the winter falls on these shores Ill cast all fear unto the wind and undo my soul and if in danger he tumbles from my hold ill rip the earth on which he lands and rest his head to sleep i love my lord because i know my love for he is meeeeee

I love my love, not I love my lord. And we can do without lords, that goes for so called "titled" individuals, and for a God in a Jewish book. God is on the side of the US military, in his name billions are oppressed and in a spell. There is no God, just the creation and the deep mystery of what that/this is, and what sustains it. No more Lords, more Love.
