How are vetting them to be sure they're qualified? If it's through your program what do those contracts look like for the youth? What type if margins do you need for the project to make sense ect. Love this. I was born uptown, and spent a portion of my childhood in the 914. Would love to be a part of the movement that is looking to invest and rebuild Mount Vernon, but I'm a beginner and just now starting to learn how real estate developing actually works in my late 30s. I am hoping the Earn Your Leisure team will eventually release a follow-up video on how people from these communities who are not yet wealthy (and want to accumulate wealth) can participate on all levels.

Im from mountvernon , n its literally half black american n half jamaican . But a good portion of us are blended my moms american my pops jamaican . I got a few cussns w on my moms ( AA) side w a ja / mom . Like some my frends have aa parent & a ja parent as well i got frends who family come from charleston Mississippi n the caribbean of born to caribbean parents u have other caribbean n other black ethnic groups here but the numbers are small .. then sometimes u wont even no cus u have jamaican families that been here in mt vernon since the 60s... i mean justin combs is a product of this union of black american n caribbean parentage, his moms jamaican diddy is american….
