Mount Washington Hillclimb in a Subaru WRX STI - iRacing

To unlock an "award" on iRacing, you have to beat Travis Pastrana's time of 5.28.67, which he did at the real Mount Washington Hillclimb. So I tried it....after dozens of attempts I finally beat him, only to realize I had not recorded it, ha. So I did the run again, just in case someone wants to watch this. Still a lot of seconds to gain there, but it was enough for my little "award".

Looks like a fun challenge to have a go at, although I can see it taking me 100's of attempts..!!

You have to be able to endure the 50th attempt with a certain amount of patience...after you got yourself an 0x three minutes into a nice run 🥴. But it's still a fun challenge and something different.

Looks like we had the same idea. I finally got to the top, checked the scoreboard and saw you on it! Similar amount of attempts, took me just under 50 to get a lap in, just pushing a little too much. Theres a downhill one too, although I feel like that would be harder for me.

I forgot to record the first time I beat Travis' run and had to do it all again, you can imagine how thrilled I was, ha. That's why this attempt was a bit sloppy after the dirt section. Just wanted to get this over with 😅
