I climbed that dihedral recently. I was able to get a confidence nut in the seam on the left that made that initial runout a little easier to bear.

I know exactly where you’re talking about. Like a 7 or 8 stopper.

@@michaelsmeanderings67 Not sure the size...it was a little guy about 10-12 feet off the deck on the left side. I was using a friends Metolius gear I was not familiar with. I pulled it out accidentally after I placed my next piece where you got your first in. A reminder to have first piece be multidirectional right? As I said, it was only for confidence...pretty sketchy to whip on.
