This was my first time riding with a pro rider... needless to say, there is a big difference between a pro mountain biker and the everyday, get out on the weekends rider. It was so fun to just watch him rail the turns and carry so much momentum through the trail. Spending a weekend with a pro will not only make you a better rider but really appreciate the time and work put into riding at that level.

Once you guys hit Fireswamp he was GONE. Wow
@mtbyumyum7 жыл бұрын
Dude, I've never seen anything like it... super fast. On Tsunami you can hang with him cuz he has to go slow enough to not over-shoot the landings but in the single track he's just incredible. Can't believe how much more traction he can find and speed. Really cool riding with him!

Your pace and spacing on joey in the first section was perfect! Kept him in the frame through all the big berms!! Loved it!

that guys is amazing, I've ridden this trail and its crazy intimidating. The tables are huge! I'm impressed with how well you kept up, you are not bad yourself. I spent the day riding tidal wave, the jumps are perfect for me as a dad/weekend rider.
@mtbyumyum7 жыл бұрын
haha Dude, when he drops down into Fire Swamp he's just gone... Yeah, Tidal Wave is a lot of fun. Tsunami was a lot of fun too. Great trails up there. I'm planning on doing a "group ride" up there next summer. Follow me on Instagram for updates and more current information!

Hi Poby, wondering which Park City bike park you’d recommend for intermediates? Is Deer Creek best? I’m looking for midsized tables and drops, not huge.

aaand, he's gone ..... hahaha. 3:49 That last section seems really tough. How was the Nomad?
@mtbyumyum7 жыл бұрын
The Nomad did great for the most part.... it's seems to wallow a little bit in the mid stroke. I've spent almost 250 miles on this bike and haven't been able to get it to smooth out. The new Nomad on the other hand is $$$money$$$ for trails like this! Also, camera angle wasn't very good when we hopped into the wooded single track.. oh well, I'll get better at filming and remember to tilt the camera down when we get on steep tracks.
@stevewatkins92807 жыл бұрын
Nice video but I would love to see more of you bars and top tube(4ish inches) to get a perspective of how your riding.
@mtbyumyum7 жыл бұрын
For sure... this was a difficult one for me to film as there was a lot of jumping and then when we head into the single track the grade become much much steeper.... I'll remember in the future to tilt the camera down on extra steep tracks. thx!

MTB yumyum: Any thoughts between Nomad and Hightower on these Lines ... I've seen lots of Reviews, bikes aren't similar, i know, but would the HT stable and comfortable enough? (Not LT Version) As well how are the climbing characteristics of your nomad to the bronson you've tested for a while? Nice Work and best whishes from Germany
@mtbyumyum7 жыл бұрын
Andr'e, the Hightower would do ok on these track but I would rather have the Nomad... that said, the Hightower LT would absolutely shred these trails! The Nomad doesn't climb as well as the Bronson. The Bronson would in my opinion make a better all-around trail bike and would still be enough for the trails in these videos. Best of luck!
@AD-mm6rb7 жыл бұрын
MTB yumyum Thx man! Maybee the Hightower will be the best conclusion as an everyday bike, because of their versatile application options. Had an Special Deal for the S built Hightower as well as for the nomad. I come from 26 Enduro as my "do it all" Bike... Keep on Riding and take care!

No. I don't typically ride trails like this... check out some of my other vid's filmed in Corner Canyon, Utah... this is where I ride most often... little out of my element on the Lift Service stuff!

Thanks for the feedback.... Spencer, by little brother who does the editing, and I are starting to focus more on making the edit better and more watchable/engaging. Thank you!

I love your channel and I think you're great... but this gimbal footage sucked, man. How do clips like 4:00 make it into the video? I can't see the trail, what you're doing on the bike, or anything like that. It felt like you were just flying a drone down the trail. Again, I love everything else you've put out on to youtube, but I feel like this was a real step back. Although I'm being a dick about this, I really don't want to be anything but supportive. I do feel as though this feedback needs to be heard, though.
@mtbyumyum7 жыл бұрын
It's true, not great. My bad bro! With that said, I got a chance to check out your channel... it's the first I've seen of it and you guys totally rip! Excellent gimbal work on some really sick trails. Big jumps and drops too... Nice work bro! Really good commentary throughout and sharp editing! Keep up the good work boys! Yeew, Get'er!
@SGMTB7 жыл бұрын
Thanks a ton, man! That means a lot coming from a big channel. I actually went with the good ol' helmet cam. I'm glad to hear it's pretty smooth haha! I can't wait to see more from you, I'm sure you'll get the gimbal sorted in no time. And thanks again for not taking my comment the wrong way. Good luck with all the upcoming videos, I can't wait to see them. No pressure, though, I think you were right when talking about how youtube can sometimes take away from the ride. It's best to keep it fun!

Is it just takes me or does it seem like most DH riders are riding a bike that is at least a size smaller than they should be ? This guy just seems like he is cramped up unless going over jumps.
@moto51legend7 жыл бұрын
mike Bussart it may look it, but it might just be your eyes, or maybe he just likes a shorter reach. I can assure you that a factory rider isn't going to have a bike that doesn't fit him
@mtbyumyum7 жыл бұрын
mike, interesting you brought this up.... I also thought his bike was a bit on the small side.
@mikebussart25757 жыл бұрын
MTB yumyum Not saying thats a bad thing but it just seems like a lot of DH and bike park riders bikes seem kinda small for them. Maybe it gives them better control in the air on jumps and things who knows.
