Beautiful machine! All I watch this every time I have a chance, people are hating because stickers on chassis. They need to understand that 1JZ is from a Toyota! there is no such thing as an sr20dett... i think you mean sr20det. sr is the engine name, 20 is the displacement, D stands for dual overhead camshafts and E stands for electronic fuel injection. the T represents turbo, which it has only one of. a 1jz would have a lot more power and a lot more torque.

the aftermarket for the 1jz is pretty huge. Not as much as the sr but you'll find everything you need

Nissan has awful sounding 4cylinder engines lol. The RB 's sound great. Go for a 1jz and don't turbo it. A lot of people make the mistake of install RB's in a 240 and realize it's too heavy for the front of the car so when they go into a drift the weight shift is a whole lot different, even running shorter springs with weight ratings doesn't help much for weight transfer with the RB and especially a V8. Granted I love the RB25, but RB's also have notorious seal issues. Generally speaking once you swap it in, a few months later the stock seals need to be replaced with something more durable from Tomei

Another route could be a vq swap. You can stroke them to 3.8 l or just supercharge them, makes good responsive power.

To those arguing about what the car is: it is not a Silvia. It is the US 240SX coupe with a silvia front end swap. The end result is virtually indistinguishable from the japanese S13 Silvia aside from the engine.

+CAR GUY a Sileighty is when it had a Silvia front end and a 240sx back end. This one has both a Silvia front and Silvia back end. So either it's a Silvia or he full converted it from a 240sx to a Silvia. That's from what I know, could be wrong I guess.
