either this guy is an amazing driver or this z has some serious suspension work done to it. my old neighbor was a supra master pretty much that had regular 40k+ clients. he said a problem building all these old cars, like the old celica (which was how this topic came up) is that their chassis can't handle power correctly. meaning everything is kind of off balance if you will. this car was really sticking it to the ground. great build!

digimon916 You can drift anything rwd pretty much , Enough power , Enough grip and some skill. The old celicas drift really well . You can even adapt s chassis Nissan rear suspension pretty easily .

If that z hasn't been modified on the turning. How do you drift without power steering? or is it really that easy?

You can drift without power steering.. Once you start moving it isn't that hard to turn, and some even prefer it over power steering. Think of it like this... Your front wheels are on a line (Sort of like a roller coaster). Now, lets say you drift in a circle like the video. You turn into the circle, kick the clutch, and as the rear end slips, you let go of the steering wheel. The front wheels will stay in that position as the car rear end kicks out, and the car pretty much steers itself. Then you just hold the steering lock you need and follow the steering line as needed, making adjustments. You don't have to let go of the steering wheel though (just explaining). As for this car, I don't know about power steering. My guess is no. Better road feedback without power steering, and more fun to some. But, I do't know.

Good to know. xD I've never driven without power steering, and my 240 has 4WS. I'm just going off basic knowledge and what others say. As for the Power steering on the 280, most people probably would have left it off, after the RB swap (If it had it factory).

Steering assist is also pretty good, and just takes some of the musclen' out. while keeping 90% feel for the road in.
