I definitely heard the change in Jeremy's normally mellow tone when he saw the deer covered up! Great video guys! Very informative and an interesting story. (I love these kinds of videos, btw). Keep it up!

Excellent video gentlemen... very interesting. OMG! One hundred degrees plus heat in a blacked out blind! I’m guessing the «All-in-One 2-Layer Merino Wool Combination Underwear» is not part of your hunting equipment... lol Thanks for sharing and I’m looking forward to more great videos from you guys.

Dam Texas has SKINNY ass dear! Just came across the Desperado and it is fir sure my next firearm. I can think of a TON of cool uses for that "pistol", if they want to send me one I will dedicate a channel to all my crazy ideas with it :)

mt lions arnt really a problem in Texas... they stay outta sight but we know they are there

This might be a dumb question, but did you guys still harvest the meat or was it spoiled?
@InternationalSportsman2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the meat was spoiled after being out all night in the heat. We covered the deer back up and put trail cameras on the location, but another hunter took them. So we don't know if or when the mountain lion returned.

Cool video. Too bad the lion got the deer. At what distance approximately was the shot on that deer?
@InternationalSportsman3 жыл бұрын
Somewhere between 20-25 yards.

@@nsbstrong3624 You got that right. The lion would've definitely come back and getting it on camera would've been a great addition to the video!! Needless to say, we were furious.

We absolutely share your sentiment. If the mountain lion would not have taken the doe, she would have 100% gone to feed a family in need.

What a waste of a deer, not an ethical hunter.
@pleury3 жыл бұрын
Define ethical hunter??
@skylersmith94652 жыл бұрын
Hows it a waste? Mountain lion got it, dragged from the blood trail so they couldn't find it, they then came out the next day to have daylight to continue looking for the doe. Nothing more they could do for the meat in that heat and sun.
