Yea it’s much easier to see when it’s enhanced on the video but at 800 yards in the binos is a bit tougher. I’m glad we took the extra time to really check him out on the big lense and finally saw the 4th point. If we dint have the camera I don’t think we woulda be able to see it to be honest

Damn that's one hell if a hunt! Definitely took a shit kicking but got it done! Those are the ones to look back on, the more they suck the better the memory 👌 great video and awesome bucks! Has to be 4 point to be legal there? Here in alberta we don't have that rule
@AlpineCarnivore2 жыл бұрын
Yea I’m hunting in a general over the counter unit and from Nov 1 to the end of rifle season its 4 point bucks only. It’s a bit of a tougher hunt but makes for more mature deer being harvested at the end of the day so it’s nice when you can find them! And you are right the tougher it is in the moment the more you remember it in years to come!

As of the first stalk, Just my opinion, but getting the kill shot on film is definitely not as important as it used to be. This is fishgrub spinners. I've been at the filming game for years. Great hunt and great video.
@AlpineCarnivore Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching and maybe it’s not important for you as much as it is for me. I do make these films for the public to learn but I also want to make better and better quality films and pushing myself to do so I strive to campfire the full adventure on camera and if I don’t do that I feel like I let myself down. Self improvement is the name of the game for me!
@politicalfisherman540 Жыл бұрын
@Alpine Carnivore I totally agree it's part of the challenge for the film producers, just giving you feedback that your storytelling is top-notch and if you shot that deer in bad film light it would've still been a great video. It wasn't meant to be a negative feedback.
