Barber chairs, widow makers, trees in general fight back. My dad and grandpa are X fallers from the Skeena Region. Gramps lost a couple inches from a spinal compression that happened from exactly that, a widow maker. My dad was lucky and fell into a cat track and the tree went across. One thing I'm always watching is the tops, I won't go under a leaner

Another great hunting trip. Love the looks of that area. Really like hunting old burns, lots of feed available for the ungulates. But with the open terrain , people tend to forget to look close! And dont forget to look behind you. Can't wait for episode 2.

Buddy this is gold. What a great channel. Can’t believe there isn’t more subscribers and for the age of the channel no idea why it didn’t come up sooner for me. Fun to watch and I love hunting with my wife as well, cheers you two from Manitoba 🍻 did my first black bear hunt this year and Turkey last year, I can’t wait to take my other half along with me as she enjoys it as well. Keep it up living the good life! All the best you two.

A good way to secure field dressing and campsites is to use a portable electric fence. The lightest one out there weighs only 2.4 lbs and it’s powerful enough to deter a hungry griz. Just a suggestion.

That buck you saw first off chasing the doe. I have caught Manny deer in that area. Old open cuts. And good animal traffic. Although becarfule on showing your phone map on location. Me being in that area alot I know exactly where you are and the ridge your pointing at.

I'm an ex logger and a widow maker survivor, nasty trees and it never even made a sound just all of a sudden I was folded like a pretzel and thank goodness in a slight low spot that it didn't crush me, burns are a bad place to be in the wind
