Andy, I really hope you either already have got, or will consider getting your NVQ in teaching and assessing. You are a fantastic mentor and educator, you assess and evaluate constantly with Justin, and provide an excellent educational environment. You are a great asset to the company, and I speak from a position as someone qualified and experienced with teaching, mentoring and assessing (all be it in another field), and I see your great potential within the company infrastructure. I hope Jem recognises these qualities in you appropriately as well, because he is a great mentor/educator as well, and has the advantage of being the boss. I don’t know what the hierarchical structure of your profession is, but I’d say you should be very close to the top of the triangle.
