Mountain Rescue Teams Search for a Missing Hillwalker | Highland Cops 1205pm 28.10.24 i never think the worst. but he's correct in some sense..... walking alone is probably not the way to go.

@@neilanderson841 Comments on ‘Mountain Rescue Teams Search for a Missing Hillwalker | Highland Cops’ 1732pm 29.10.24 and, sadly, so have i. i only pondered upon those notions of the dangers befalling the solitary walking, and coming a cropper out on the moors with no back up, when i fell into an undulating piece of peat bog... limping off i thought: maybe it is best to have someone with you. someone you can trust, i mean... walking with mass murderers aint advisable. but, yeah. i have clocked up some walking miles and cycling, for that matter.... i mean just cos you haven't made a big deal about your walking or health fanatical pursuits or made a big show of yourself...

Interesting with this many hikers that require rescue that they don’t carry trackers. I hike mountains and would never hike without one. Be safe people.
