Country living all the way! Most young people have no idea how to live this way and be self-sufficient. It's hard work. It has been a long time since I have seen lard cooked off. I remember wash pots over a fire doing this very thing. We always had fried pork brains and eggs for breakfast the next day and loin for lunch. Great memories. No regrets. Blessings to you.

Great video! I especially like the food prep as those skills are mostly lost now. Ive never seen a canning lid system like that. What is it called? I only wish you had more vegetables lol.
