Some people turn their nose up at Mountain Wearhouse but I have always been impressed with their gear, not always the best quality but for the price yo pay, I think that is a fair trade off. I have used their boots for the last 4 pairs and they have been the most comfortable boots I have ever had, straight out of the box and straight on a 10 mile hike no problem and no blisters. Very comprehensive review you did there, cheers Alan

Thanks Alan really appreciate your comment, I've been really impressed with it so far, the price I paid was worth a punt, looking forward to testing it properly in the future. Keep safe and all the best, Paul

Looks ideal for a go bag, perfect size, small axe and a folding saw, sorted. See the bag is available for £35 at MW now, bit of a bushcraft bargain.

Loving the review Paul, never knew you could get so much in a back pack!! I would suggest making sure you have room for bacon, butter, rolls, ketchup, a fridge, tea bags and sugar! The main essentials when camping! ;)

I managed to finally get one of these, barely used, on eBay last week. I wanted green but ended up getting black because the price was too good to ignore. Thanks for the review Paul. Now I know this backpack has side pockets 😁

@Budd Outdoors it is a fantastic bag. I've just watched this first impression video again to see if what you said is accurate. I'm glad to say it is. I use mine for my commute to work on my bicycle. The only thing missing is a football stadium floodlight so you can see what is at the bottom of the cavernous bag. 😂

I have this pack,and whilst it does look small in the video for a 50ltr pack,it defininatley is'nt.Ive done multi day hikes with this pack and its more than capable with loads of room. Once you get the straps right it is extremely comfortable. Comes in at 1kg for its weight and is priced a bargain.
@BuddOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, it's much appreciated 👍 I definitely found it comfortable, I need to play a little for packing but I'm happy with its size, and as for a bargain, I paid under £20 including delivery which I was extremely happy with 😁 hope you had a good weekend, keep safe. Paul

Great little review, I love mountain ware houses gear. Just a thought you will need a sleep mattress or self inflating mat. Ohh gd idea to take a wash kit or you may loose friends 😉

Hi Paul I was thinking on picking one of these up for a multiway camp, bit worried about carrying all this and the tent and tent mat around, do you just hold that separately

Evening Paul, nice looking sack! All the key features and looks the part too. Wild camps on Darty you say!? Ooooh suits you sir, be good to see how you get on with it a few months down the line ❤☕🤗 sorry if I missed it, does it have a hydration pouch and water proof covers? Side zip pockets are great, keep all our grazing foodies close to hand! ❤🤗👨🍳☕ stay safe and well, Ceri and Kat 🏕👍 did you have a sleeping bag? water will come in handy or a filter/tablets, we prefer to carry fresh at the cost of weight 😳
@BuddOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching guys, it has a pocket inside down the back that I would assume is for a water bladder but no hole for the pipe, unless it just comes out the main compartment, no built-in waterproof cover sadly, I've just bought one from a well known rainforest with next day delivery, and yep to the sleeping bag that was the last thing I pulled, there's still a bit of space for some extras though.

Hi and thanks for watching, unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity still to go on the trip, the tent however has been great, I've used it quite a lot when out on my motorbike and has become my go to tent because of its size and ease to put up. All the best, Paul

Hi. I have a question. Does anyone know that this High50L backpack can carry on to the cabin when flying with any airlines? Cheers.
@BuddOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Really sorry Luc but I don't know, I've not been on a plane for a while and not sure on the sizes, it will possibly depend on how much you put in as it could be squashed down to fit if needed, but if it's filled, I'd say it's possibly a little bulky. all the best, Paul
@os9088 Жыл бұрын
I just bought this bag with flying in mind actually. With the straps on the sides and in the front, you can easily adjust the overall size. I measured the bag months ago when I visited their store in Vancouver, and it seemed to be within Delta’s carry-on limits. I'll re-measure it for Ryanair/Transavia size limitations when I receive the bag somewhere next week!
