Utah State and Boise State can also assert unjust damage to their sports programs because the Mountain West forced them to forfeit volleyball games just because USU and BSU players exercised their right to freedom of speech.

Jay Berwanger went to the University of Chicago and Liberty is in Conference USA, officially making them a Division 1-A school. However in this current structure of College football, they might as well go back to the 1-A, 1-AA split in FBS.

Money is not an issue at NSU based on FCS standards, but rather bad coaches (NSU had to settle two harassment lawsuits under two coaches' administrations involving players being SH by other players. The details are disrupting and Odums should have been fired for his failure to act during his first season and to protect the victim, when an incident was report to him and his coaching staff).

Liberty "1-AA power"? hahaha you are many years behind. They played in the fiesta bowl last year. They have been FBS since 2018. Hard to take you seriously after that comment. Salter has played FBS the whole time.

Talking about Washington State Wisconsin is having the same problem. It sounds like they are going to have to develop their players like us, but hopefully they don't tamper with each other.

It seems to be getting weirder by the day anymore? Transfers all over some teams do better by getting some new players. How do you figure out who will play in bowl games ? It is weird lately to me anyways .

It was always was ok when coaches did all moving Around(coaches, ass. coaches, ect) but when the players do it and control Their own destinies. It's a problem. I do think there's a be some type of regulation on NIL

They just need to remove Student from the Athlete and make the teams Clubs. Convert the Student Athletes into School Employees and let the money flow. The NCAA would take on the role of profit sharing so that all schools can maintain the sports. Especially the low review sports like the ones for the Olympics. That is the low down version. It would be more complicated.

Sorry schools. But do a better job recruiting kids who want to play. This is the league now. Saban kept kids that would start on other teams and they didnt play much and never got "paid". But stayed because he knew how to recruit them.

Lets take your subjects in seperate paragraphs.......... first...I am extreemly disappointed in the college transferr portal....I believe all student sports players and coaches should NOT be able to enter the transferr portal or coaches be hired by other universities until AFTER their schools season is over.....that way in these bowl games we have the entire team playing in these bowl games. on the subject of the MW conf......... there are 2 lawsuits.....both involving the exit fees and poaching penalties. The schools involved in these 2 lawsuits signed their respected agreements in good faith and are contractually obligated to pay those fees. They're just filing these suits hoping to negotiate down these fees and penalities. The MW conf. has no reason to negotiate these fees because in a court before a judge.....those schools who filed the lawsuits don't have a strong case. Michael Vick should not be allowed to coach kids....period.

On the MW conference lawsuit with Colorado State, Utah State, and Boise State, what is unique about it is the bylaws (contract of the conference) has a unusual way to officially announce your resignation from the league. You have to give a written notice and pay a $5,000 exit deposit. Once that happens, you lose voting rights and money but until that point, you are still a full voting member. The issue is that the exiting schools have not done that yet. They just stated they planned to leave. The MW conference has blocked them from accessing all meetings, stopped payments, and haven't given meeting minutes since they announced they left. In some of those meetings they've voted and changed the bylaws effectively kicking the exiting schools out except by doing that they broke numerous bylaws about needing enough members and giving proper notice about that kind of vote. The exit fee in the bylaws was described as compensation for the conference if a school leaves but the lawsuit points out how the Memorandum of Understanding that the remaining MW schools signed said they didn't have to pay an exit fee if they leave for a P4 but will for other conferences. That brings up an issue for the MW because now they have to prove why it is harmful to the conference for a school to leave for the Pac-12 but not if they leave for the Big 12. Another issue for the MW conference, according to the lawsuit, they've broke numerous conference bylaws, which is a contract, and also broke a couple Colorado state laws which is where the MW conference is headquartered. There have been a few lawyers who have read over the complaint and many have suggested this is a lawsuit to watch since it has some big allegations that puts the MW conference in a bad spot.

@perrystevenson6364 Agree with the first paragraph: players and coaches should not be allowed to get bought out of the bowl and playoff schedule. It's anti-competitive. Second paragraph, I think you misunderstood: the exit fees were raised (more than doubled) after they had already been agreed upon. Also, teams were barred access, which purportedly is not allowed until they actually leave. Last point, the Coach served his time for an adjudicated animal cruelty case, decades ago. So, you should respect the judicial process, and humble yourself.

The transfer portal. As you know I live in Vegas. You can't bet on any bowl games. Because you don't know what players are playing. on the playoffs you can because they're all playing. It's messing up the betting. They're going to have to do something about it. Michael Vick shouldn't be in football what he did to those dogs.
