You do such a great job plowing the snow and sure does enjoy watching you do it too! You're so kind to even plow the main street for others to be safe driving on it. Stay safe, warm and Merry Christmas to you and yours! Thanks for sharing!❤🌲

• It’s not really winter until you are carrying a pocket full of shear bolts and pins! 😂 • Bo the Drifter sure sounds an awful lot like Jerry Reed. • When I lived in Vermont, our rural roads were plowed with BIG motor graders. Merry Christmas to you all 🎄🎅🏼

Marc, you handle the snow well with the equipment you have but I wonder if you sometimes go to bed at night dreaming of a road grader. Alas, the money tree just doesn't grow fast enough does it?

I enjoy watching your videos, may I make a suggestion for a future video. How about a recap from all the projects that you have worked on over the pass year and also when do you plan on starting the garage.

At our Ranch, we had a Massey Furguson industrial with a bucket on the front, heavy chains, and positive traction to pull a blade. It was hard enough for it to pull itself. We found that our Ford 601 with a blade did much better. It had no chains, but it did have loaded tires.

Man, I wish over here in Wyoming we got some of that stuff! It is 12/24/24 and still yet to get any snow. It is so crazy, last 2 or 3 days where high 50's It is scary to think about next summer and how dry our mountains are going to be. Might be a little smoky!

You made me nervous a few times. You know what you're doing but stuff happens. Have a wonderful Christmas celebration with your family. Eating plenty of good cooking. Ambition strikes attached a slotted metal pipe to his plow blade . He got the idea from his comments. It was easier on his road . Just a mention if you wanted to see what he did and if it was something that would help you.

Ploughing snow is one job I would not envy. We don't seem to get any if anything like the snow you guys get. I learned a lot about the war on snow from Heath over at RPR. I am away tonight to my sister's. Have a wonderful Xmas....

Do you have arrangements for tractor failure during a longer heavier snowfall winter on the homestead prepped and ready for that scenario? Extra parts on hand ? Plans for a heavier tractor? Arrangements with your neighbors to cover for any breakdowns if needed?? I would imagine you all have plans to maintain your homestead in case of emergencies….much to consider to maintain independence!!!! Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all !!!😊😊

Is sliding backward down the mountain fun?
@coolwheelz519024 күн бұрын
Does Heath help with the plowing? Does he just plow his section? Also, I thought you had a snow blower attachment for the tractor? This probably wouldn't be enough snow to use it and the blade probably works better.
@MountainMapleRanch24 күн бұрын
Yes all of our neighbors help plow:) it was faster to plow this time around. I would have gobbled up a lot of mud chunks in to it otherwise.
@CCscott24 күн бұрын
Heath? Wouldn’t count on him. He has the attention of a flea.

As comfortable as a cab would be, you don't fight tree branches into the cab or mirrors. I suspect you are mentally noting all the spots a pole saw (at a minimum) would be necessary in the future.
