It isn't clean until the water comes off of it completely clear. And the more you clean the deeper the cleaning solution / water can get into the carpet. You are literally talking breaking up years (possibly decades) of long term grime buildup. If the video is 25 minutes long, the whole unedited process was probably +3 hours long. This cleaning probably cost double what a new rug would run you.

I have my doubts. After cleaning the back of the rug, there was still obvious signs of mold stains. Maybe the part was cut out, but clean or not, the mold will return as soon as the conditions are right. And that mold is going to transfer into the floor. And to be honest, the pet that peed on this to begin with is just going to do it again. The rug mimics outside grass too much. If the animal is still alive, I'd suggest switching to a different rug. One that doesn't mimic the outdoor and reinforces the peeing behavior indoors.

I'm curious, wouldn't it be easier to wash these rugs on a floor that had holes / a grate so all the excess dirty water can just go straight down into a collection system instead of having to move it all to the back each time? That way it won't keep pooling around the rug either, just drains straight down. The holes could be small so it won't have anything else slip through.

Obviously your method works for you and that's what's important, but it does seem like a "grate" of some nature would allow the dirty water to drain away instead of getting trapped under the rug. Looks gorgeous. Most cleaners would've labeled this clean and left it as is about a quarter of the process in. You went the full way and cleaned both sides. Amazing job

Idk how these videos are helping my depression. Maybe it's the thought that something forgotten and left to rot is being salvaged and turned beautiful again. Maybe it's the asmr. Whatever it is, I greatly enjoy these videos.

First time watching one of your videos. I was not expecting to be so entertained by someone cleaning a rug, I enjoyed it very much! I'll definitely be watching more of them!

If I did the job you do and I saw that, I would quit my job immediately, this was so awesome that you still cleaned this even after how messy it was, good job 👍

It’s so satisfying how each time he does a method of cleaning, and you think it’s clean and then you see how much grime comes out, no matter how much cleaning he does. Insane!

For some reason I really like these videos, I have only watch a couple so far. I used to watch house cleanings of hoarders or people who died. But the channel I watched slowed down on releasing content and I just haven’t gone back to watching. Also just seeing the before and after of the dirty/clean carpet is cool. Also I love the googly eyes on the cleaner thingy.

Absolutely love your video's. The shots and editing are great and love the background music. It's also clear you're a pro in your trade, it looks like you have thought everything through and it shows in your results. You're also the only one I came across so far, who cleans the bottom side of the rug, which makes the cleaning more effective and your vids so much more satisfying to watch. Also really appreciate the ad's in only the beginning and end of your vids. You're an absolute legend.

I appreciate your kind comments. Ive only been cleaning rugs for 5 months so i wouldn't consider myself a pro just yet, but i am through.

Who would have thought there was a rug mixed in with all that dirt? I'm glad you were able to remove the rug so that the dirt can rest easy. There was enough to feed generations of earthworms.
