I feel that people who listen to and love this kind of music live on a separate plane of existence apart from everybody else and nobody really goes looking for it and even less, finds it. These people live close to nature and close to their being, they listen to their heart and their reason and always try to be the best people. They love their family. They are undefeatable. They have imagination and creativity. This song is the most perfect i've ever heard in my whole life. I would like to be friend of all the people who love and listen to this kind of music, especially this song. Thanks Mountains of the moon for creating this absolute masterpiece. Hope you and Indie Air see this comment. It would make me so happy. Love to all of you...

Ive been fighting an extremely long and extremely difficult battle with mental illness. I used to listen to this song non stop 2019, 2020, 2021 when I was at a very bad and very scary spot. Listening to this again takes me back to a very different time. I'm still struggling but it's okay, things are better than they were via tiny baby steps & that's what matters. If you're here and also struggling, you absolutely are not alone. I know it hurts, all the battles you've been through, you just have to force yourself to keep going no matter how hard it is. I know what its like to be bed ridden and not eating or anything for days, weeks. Please if the only thing you push yourself to do is brush your teeth, eat and shower, thats more than an accomplishment. I'm so proud of you. Keep going, please 💙

What a soul-touching song. Why don't they play this amazing, beautiful music on the radio? It's like all they want people to hear is shallow, greedy, violence inspiring stuff. I reject what they push. I search for things like this. Imagine if the world had such music as this playing daily. People would be in such a better headspace, and be happier. I have no doubt of that. I discovered this song about three or four years ago.I was a teenager and i was literally in a bayou which i couldn't save myself from it. I had no serious problems but it was so hard to fight with the stress of becoming a young adult and deciding who and what will i become. At the nights i couldn't sleep, i used to listen this song and draw something until the morning. And of course, like many of us,i was always afraid of having a bad day and i was nearly sure nothing will change and i won't never be happy. Depression was like a part of my character. It still is, actually. But i can say that you can defeat the despair by the time.I started to study at university and i am getting a better version of me. Sometimes you can't change the things, you can't change your feelings. But believe me,you just need to be self confident. And don't forget that no one is more important than yourself. It all get better. Don't cry, don't raise your eye, it's only teenage wasteland ;)))

Those are five of my favorites. They send me to that same, dream-like state that this band does. I hope you listen to those songs. My guess is someone here listening to this is hurting for one reason or another. I’ll say this, one day you will be listening to this song wondering how you made it through whatever it is you’re going through now. You may not even remember how much it hurt. There are millions of us out here, we just don’t say much, we tend to listen more. You will find what you’re looking for. Don’t give up. One foot in front of the other and that’s it.

I have come around Life is ocean, we were just travellers In the bayou In the bayou That we outgrew Most powerful line to me. To me the bayou is your lifetime and the bayou was that little bit of memory you shared with someone you cared about. You move on to better things the further you travel through the bayou meaning time. ("We were just travelers in the bayou") meaning that you meet at the certain time and you departed ways as you traveled your own path and you forgot the person physically but still hold memories of you life back then("That we outgrew"). The bayou still holds a great deal of memories because it was when you were young and were discovering the world and its people little by little.

It also mirrored the Stars that decorated that sky, not a cloud was in site, behind you was a large Forrest, towering trees stopped at the shoreline. The person I love doesn't like this type of music. Anyway, I have my headphones, I put on the and hold her while she looks at me staring at the celestial courtain.

Whenever I listen to this type of music, it reminds me of the apartment that I used to live in with my parents, and when it would rain, I would sit on the floor and paint for hours listening to this kind of music. I would imagine being somewhere else, and I still do... some kind of conifer forest with a cosy cabin/house hidden in it and when it would rain I'd sit on a window seat and read or paint/draw, but when it's not raining, I'd just go outside and run. Most of the people in this comment section say that they think indie music is listened to by people who are in some way connected to nature and spirit, and I think it's true. This is a beautiful song, it's so peaceful...

This was my least favourite out of all what I've listened here for almost 3 or 4 years being a subscriber. But here's the thing, this channel I believe is one of God's blessing to me. When I was in despair and depressed, this channel was introduced to me by my friend. And this helped me in my troubled times. When I was confused and praying to God but can't make my body move the way it has to be? This channel became my crying-shoulder. But now that I'm not depressed anymore, this channel and these songs started to open my eyes. That it's so nice to give love and to be loved by someone. Romance is a good thing that we can experience. Glory to God for giving us such privilege to encounrer this channel and these songs. I hope who may ever been read this, he/she hold on to God. :) Amen.

we are the people who are broken and somehow find healing in this kind of music. We are the most loving and hopeless romantics who constantly get hurt cause we can't find the people who match our calm loving nature 💔 We love romance, we love wholeheartedly, and we're so loyal and only think of great things we can do with our partners, we somehow live in a fantasy world😔 a world of peace, a world full of love, a world without conflict, a world with no arguments, nor fights. But finding that in reality is almost impossible 🥺 We're mostly loners or introverts, but we keep the love and the hope alive. 💔 OH, how I wish we could just all find each other and build a home of the loners who understands and love each other right 😔

This song makes me want to cry for a place and time that I've never been to. There is something nostalgic about it that I can't rightly explain and it makes me sad and happy at the same time.
