Wow... 18 shots of sake... even if she share's it with the cameraman, 9 shots per person is still a lot... Wonder if there're any additional footage from after they finished all the sake... Gotta be fun times... :D

Oh, :D! I thought the same thing. But I also thought that if you were a drinker and had a few friends with you to go thirds with you on each sample that would be such a fantastic night out. Delicious, educational and like you said, fun times. This was such a fantastic video. There is so much of extremely high quality to discover around Japan it's mind-boggling.

I love the open design of Byodoin Temple. I'm not sure what it is about the architectural structure of the temple, but I keep pausing the video to stare at it.

Обожаю видео на этом канале 🤗 Очень красивые съемки. Классная подача материала. Немного напрягает быстрая смена кадров - не успеваешь рассмотреть и насладиться пейзажем.

That dessert looks amazing!! I'd love to try out the matcha grinding experience when I visit Uji in early May. Is there a way for me to book it in English?
@japanguide
@japanguide 5 жыл бұрын
That dessert was probably one of the top matcha desserts we had! Yes they have an English website where you can book the matcha grinding experience online! Here is the link: www.tokichi.jp/english/stores/hikicha.html On that page, under the image with text in Japanese you will find an English explanation with all the details and a button to book the experience :) We hope you'll enjoy the trip and the matcha!

Of all the different railways in Japan, I find Keihan Railway to be the best. The trains are clean, attractive, and efficient. Is there better than Keihan?

Hi. I am visiting in Feb. Do I have to preorder a JR bullet train 1 month in advance? I plan to go from Tokyo to Osaka to Kyoto back to Tokyo. Thanks
@Pvemaster2
@Pvemaster2 5 жыл бұрын
You typically buy the tickets in the morning on the day you're traveling (this is what I did when I was there). There's usually enough seats, even during rush hour between Nagoya and Tokyo I found a seat in the unreserved cabins (so with a ticket but without seat reservation you go to those). I found some info on JR East, where you can reserve a seat from one month in advance until 3 days in advance.

Actually, JR East don't operate the trains between Tokyo and Osaka! Sorry. But you can just get the tickets on the day you're traveling!
@japanguide
@japanguide 5 жыл бұрын
You don't have to preorder and buy the tickets on the day, but it is possible to make reservations from one month in advance. More details can be found here: www.japan-guide.com/e/e2018.html#ticket
