Mountains, The Road In The Clouds And The Muddy Trouble

Foreword
This motorcycle trip took place in spring 2016 and the movie tells you about the adventure of travelling, passion and individual perception of the world. Fifteen days of biker’s life. The screen adaptation of the story I wrote when I came back.

Truly speaking, it’s the result of pure chance. I was going to make a short video clip, as usual. The editing was to take a month, maybe two. In the end it took me a year and a half, six to eight hours nearly every day, of staring at the computer screen. Not that it was that hyper-difficult. Simply I had to discover, all by myself, how to do that.
I made my movie of some random shots taken with an action-cam. Color correction, sound engineering, writing the narration, music selection, narration recording and correction, English subtitles. All this was necessary to produce this movie in its final form.
I thought I was able to do it on my own but… it was impossible. I need to express my sincere gratitude to all people who felt like participating in this project. Let me introduce them to you:
Cezary Marchwicki (Marchewa) - the narrator
He resisted doing this with might and main. Finally I sent him a recording device and harassed him with phone calls and e-mails asking for corrections, text changes, more corrections and more text changes. Patience is his greatest virtue, indeed
Rafał Świerszczyński (Raffik) - the man of hard facts
Doing this bluntly and with sheer satisfaction, he pinpointed all my mistakes in the text, on the maps, in the scene transitions, in the length of the scenes, in the mistaken colors, etc. In short, the inspector He knows this movie by heart and he’s never going to watch it again
Łukasz Stepaniuk - the sound engineer
When I nearly gave up unable to edit the narration recording, he told me to send him those files and he did it for me
Agnieszka K.E.A Kasprzyk - English subtitles
The emergency worker of the final stage. I wrote an ad looking for the translator and Agnieszka said she would do that. She cowed me that the translation would take some indefinitely long time and it took her one week, including the corrections. My English is so poor that when I speak it my hands are the most sore part of my body. Now I can show my Polish story to everyone
I would appreciate some words of truth. I’m going to steal an hour and a half of your life. If you feel that this movie wore you out, you got a nap while watching, you really regret your time lost or you loved every single minute of it, write me a brief comment, please. This will provide me with some valuable hints as I am going to edit another motorcycle trip movie soon. Podzielam zachwyt nad zrealizowanym materiałem filmowym z innymi komentującymi. Ujęcia, komentarze, muzyka, rewelacyjne opisy i filozoficzne przemyślenia. Fantastyczna praca i przygoda. Od siebie dodam w nawiązaniu do stwierdzenia "mam czas" przy przeprawie promowej tuż przed granicą. My nie mamy czasu, nistety. TO CZAS MA NAS. Trzeba więc odważnie realizować się na osi czasu chociażby tak jak na w/w wyprawie. Gratuluję świetnej wyprawy.

Obejrzałem twój film kilka lata temu i stał się moją inspiracją do podróży do Rumunii na motocyklu, aby doświadczyć podobnych przygód. Było wspaniale aczkolwiek inaczej. Szkoda, że nie nagrywasz kolejnych filmów w podobnym klimacie. LWG

Wpadłem dziś na ten film albo to film wpadł na mnie. Tydzień temu kupiłem swój pierwszy w zyciu motocykl. 125cc a po Twoim filmie ruszyłbym w taką podróż. To byłoby głupie bez doświadczenia umiejętności wieku i zdrowia. Wpierw chciałem zadać pytanie dlaczego tak mało Cie na KZbin. Nie odpowiadaj. WIEM. Szerokości 😊
