Thanks man. Looking at the zerk for a weekend / day pack. You might have sold me.

Hi I just found you, clicked all the button, and looking forward to learning as we go along together. I don't sub to many, just the ones that share my interest. Like the Zerk for carrying camera stuff, trying to make my mind up, The Mountainsmith or the GG40-42...thanks for your views and time. keep safe.

When I received my Zerk, the loops were made too small for the T-heads on the red straps. I contacted Mountainsmith and they were aware of the problem and sent me replacement straps with snap hooks on the ends and they work very well.

Thanks. I"ve been looking for a video on how to put these in. They don't fit. What did you ask for?

Great video!! Almost makes me want to go buy one. Loved "Wait, don't go anywhere."

I appreciate that! In retrospect, that end part was too long and "salesy" but hopefully my rambling doesn't turn too many off!

Awesome video man. You will pass me pretty quickly lol. Quality of the picture was awesome, the speaking was great, and the editing has gotten better fast.

A couple of notes about the review: I didn't show the best way if you use the side straps/clips to fasten the top rolled down. You roll it towards the back of the pack and the clips hold it in place in the back. Not across to the front like I showed. More often than not, I'll probably do it the first way I showed- like a dry bag fastens. Also left out the weight of the pack- 29 oz with all the straps included. Also left out that it includes a loop for an ice ax.

I love the channel and your thoughts behind sharing videos. That was a great, concise review. Out of curiosity, you had mentioned the possibility of carrying a camera body in the pack. How do you carry it if and when you do? Do you have a padded camera bag insert you have found that fits this pack?

I haven’t tried it yet but imagine I’d just wrap it with a sweatshirt or towel. Usually I have it slung over my shoulder using a Blackrapid brand camera shoulder sling strap. But I could think of situations where it could be handy to have in the pack when you’re on the go. I’ll actually do a review on the Blackrapid. But Mountainsmith makes backpacks specifically for cameras. I haven’t researched those products yet.

Of course. I didn't have anything with me to make that better. I'm a bit of a hack with my videos:)
