@@lonelyfirefly_ Actually I tried to be okay too. I texted my classmates and told them to be like they are every other day because I couldn't bear to have breakdowns constantly. I was allowed to bring my dog to school and he helped me a lot. A lot of people told me that the pain won't ever go away. I am sure that they told the truth. You just learn to live with it somehow. Getting to know people isn't the same for me. They ask you how many siblings you have and I always say three but throughout the conversation I have to correct myself as the topic goes to what are they doing in their life...

@@aditipai525 Thank you! I am doing a bit better now. I still feel the great loss and it is merely gotten better. Still you learn to arrange yourself with your feelings. I am mostly hung up on the fact that a lot of the hospital staff hasn't treated her respectfully. I want to change that for the sick people who have to deal with these. I can't believe how entitled some people are. One doctor even said that she is only acting like she is in pain while she couldn't even move anymore because her head hurt like hell. We met many of these ignorant people who are called 'medical specialists'.

My mom dated a guy for a few years, from when I was in 3rd grade to when I was in 10th grade. Since my parents weren't friends then, he was like my father figure. For me, he was my dad... I hate saying that since my dad is a good parent, but it was my mom's ex that I saw most of my child and teen years. Unlike my siblings, he was who I saw as my dad. I'd call him my stepdad, even though they weren't even engaged. They broke up and it tore me to shreds. I fought back tears because I know my mom was going through the breakup and I knew that was sensitive. I never got to say goodbye. But he passed away in his sleep about four months ago. I never got to go to the funeral. When I heard that, I was broken. I still am. "24 months feel like ten years" is a good indicator that this song is about death.
