Pretty good coverage of how the mount is installed and how well it works. Thank You.

I'm glad the video helped you. It's a great mount, I'm glad I didn't buy the cheaper one that the TV "hooks" onto on the wall.

Good video💪🏾 I just bought this tv mount to put my tv outside and it’s a concrete wall… it’s save for the concrete wall? Asking because the bricks. Thank you in advance.
@HughWoo Жыл бұрын
You used excess man. There were spacers I saw on the mount attached to the TV that weren’t necessary. (Middle)

Mine works well & I got it for barely over $40. I mounted mine to the bricks on my fireplace & it’s super sturdy.

Is there a way to tilt this more to one side? Mine looks crooked but when I have my leveler on the wall it's straight but the brackets holding the TV is not.
@striker12112 жыл бұрын
If yours is flexing that much you may need to tighten up the bolts on the arms that pull out. I don't remember there being adjusters.

Good eye to point out the weak link of those 3 screws holding the tv on. Bad design. I installed eye bolts above the mount and ran a steel rope through the plate to reinforce the mount in case it breaks or that bolt gives out. I'll look into that thing you put on there. What exactly is that?

does this allow the tv to be moved to the left or right from center mount and be flush with the wall. i'm looking to put this behind a door but want to be able to extend it over a closet.
@striker121111 ай бұрын
No, only when centered can it be flush to the wall. The length of the arms in the middle do not allow it to sit flush while right or left of center. I have my TV off the mount right now so it was pretty easy to check for you. Good timing.

How the hell did you lift that giant TV by yourself to put it on the mounting brackets?! As a single woman with a 50-inch TV I'm completely stumped how I'm going to lift mine!
@striker1211 Жыл бұрын
Newer TVs are incredibly light. They are just awkward to hold. Be careful not to put any twisting force on the TV, keep your grips square, hands at 12 and 6 or 3 and 9 oclock.

Are those bars that go on the mounting plate go there only if the holes are spread out?
@striker12112 жыл бұрын
Any TV over 32 inches is going to need to use the bars. Only computer monitors or 25ish inch TVs would use such a small VESA mount to not need them.

@@striker1211I have a 65 inch with vesa 400x200 and in the instructions its pictured and it says to use the horizontal bars on 400x200, is that right or always use all 4 bars?
@nllandry2 жыл бұрын
Currently I have a 55” TV I want to mount now but in a month or so I’ll be upgrading to at least 65” would the mount position to the wall need to be changed? If not, do I need to mount the wall side TV mount higher to accept the larger tv in a month? TIA!
@striker12112 жыл бұрын
Yeah you will probably be switching from Vesa 200 to Vesa 400 where you don't have room to adjust it, so you'll want to mount it a little higher. Going from 55 to 65 will require you to bump it up about 3 inches but bezels vary so you have to get your new TVs exact dimensions, subtract new tvs height from current tvs height, divide by two. Raise it that much.
