Good looking skid. I would leave the ball valve on the hose and attached the gun to the ball valve. That way you can change the gun out if you decide to go another direction.

How do you make the surfactant hose stay at the bottom of the tank?

It's just long and sits at the bottom. Nothing special holding it down

Young Ambition Soft Wash yeah I see that. Aren’t you afraid of out running wells? Or drawing silt? Do you have a filter in line? Just asking due to my own water problem experience in the field

@@powerfulimprovements a very small amount of my jobs are done on properties with wells. City or town water is in abundance here. I dont use the pressure washer much anyway. 1 or 2 times a month maybe. The 12v system has 100gal of buffer. 12v is 99.9% of my washing and rinsing

Great video. Picked up my skid from SESW July 31. Absolutely love it!! Drove from Houston. Jason Geiman was there as well. I'll be watching to see how the spray gun works out vs. the wand. Glad I don't have to deal with those jugs. I get my SH from Napco. We just pull up and fill er up like at a gas pump. 50 gals in 2 mins : )

It's working well! When I buy the chlorine I pay a deposit for the jug. When I return them I get the deposit back or i credit it towards the next pallet

What's up Zak. The skid is a dual blend from Southeast Softwash. I wouldn't say faster. It's still the same process. The skid does make me way more efficient. Makes the job easier and with the metering system I save thousands of $ on wasted chlorine.

What drill bit size did you use to install the pressure washer? How did you get the screws in to secure it with the battery box underneath it?

Hey Travis thanks for the comment! I forget which size I used. It was based off of the preexisting holes made by the manufacturer. I ran long bolts into the battery box to secure the pressure washer and then siliconed around the bolts to make sure no water got it

Is that a direct drive washer? How do you plan on hooking it up to the buffer tank? I just bought a brand new direct drive, but I’ve heard it’s hard to get it to suck from a buffer

Hey! The pressure washer doesnt pull from the tank. Theres a water splitter that hooks up to the customers water hose and then I can feed it to the washer.

Hi Michael. Thanks! The skid came from Southeast Softwash - Check out Cotys channel and his skids. There are pros and cons to truck vs trailer. I like the ease of just the truck. Fits everything I need without constantly having a trailer behind me always

@@YoungAmbitionYA Oh, sounds good. Yeah I'm still deciding which way to go. Where I'm at i have property that is hard to get to with a trailer. The truck is so much easier. Then sometimes is nice not to have everything on a trailer just in case theirs a break down on the vehicle. Winter is hard and i don't have a garage to store equipment. I have a large shed which i have to unload and store everything. The frustration, LOL... It's really helpful to watch videos on guys going through the good and bad in this bussiness. Always learning to get better. Thanks for all the helpful videos. Wish you the best with your new skid and business.
