Excellent "how-to" video. Simple, clear, concise. Very well done! BTW, I think Shadow Systems heard you... the plate cover now has the #10 Torx head, so all screws use the same bit. 👍

Excuse my ignorance but is there a cover for the battery on the bottom it looks to be an open design with no battery cover? This will be my first optic. Will it be waterproof? Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the video. Great job going through the process. I just bought a MR920 Elite couple weeks ago and finally ordered a RM06 ( 3.25 moa ) for it. Is it a 1/3rd co witness or full co witness? I hope it is around a 1/3rd co witness. I ordered a blacked out iron front sight from dawson precision. Holosun makes some great optics but i think trijicon is the best. Holosun optics are tough but they are super thick and bulky ( in my opinion ). The solar thing on the top looks cheap and the battery life is like 2 yrs ( thereabouts ) so is that something really needed? LOL sorry I went off on a tanget there but thanks again for the video.

So if I buy one of these guns I don’t need suppressor height sights to see my sights clearly because of how low the red dot sight can mount into the slide? Does anyone know I’ve been trying to figure this out

The sites are 1/3 co-witness on SS. Super nice with an rmr

What holster option did u use for the tier1 holster was it the glock19 and how’s the fit?
@KW-ct3sk4 жыл бұрын
I bought an Agis Elite for a gen 4 Glock 19, and yes, no fitment issues. You can see me demonstrate that in my review video.

will the new RMRcc fit on the Shadow MR920 Elite slide?

Snagged the MR920 and a RMRcc ...... don't fit, won't fit, no adapter plates. Thus put the RMRcc on my Gen 5 Glock 19 MOS with the adapter plate from trijicon . RMRcc is nice, as is the RMR-2 that I've been using for a few years . I can live with it. After about 500 rounds of Winchester 115gr White Box it shoots really nice but removing the slide for cleaning is a cluster ...... love the angle of the grip yet not pleased overall . Shadow Systems gave me a replacement trigger and the slide still jams up during takedown ....... MY opinion, EXPERIENCE of the takedown issue is FUBAR.
@JR-wo3sn2 жыл бұрын
Its because you're resetting the trigger because you're pulling the slide too far back when doing takedown. Its user error kiddo

Have an RMR-2 on my Glock 19 so after purchasing my MR920 Shadow Systems Elite I thought I'd try the new trijicon RMRcc ...... it does NOT fit ..... any ideas other than fit of the RMRcc etc ?? The RMRcc holes just DO NOT match up on the MR920 . Has anyone encountered this problem ?

Is no sealing plate for the RMR needed?
@KW-ct3sk4 жыл бұрын
The optic cut is milled flat, and the deepest screw holes under the optic aren't blind, so unless there's some magic voodoo going on I don't know about, you'll still need a sealing plate if you want it to be waterproof.
@dmb3504 жыл бұрын
@@KW-ct3sk Thanks for the response. I actually looked it up on SS site and they clearly state to use the sealing plate but it's always good to hear info. direct from a hands on user.

Suppressor height sights or standard?
@KW-ct3sk4 жыл бұрын
The MR920 comes with taller sights from the factory. They aren't as tall as some aftermarket suppressor height sights but since the optic rides so low, they still will 1/3 co-witness just fine. Not the most scientific method, but I measured the front sight height at about .265" with the depth gauge on my bench calipers.

I was waiting forever for shadow to release the gun, I ended up getting a staccato p but I’ll be getting one of these soon. They claim it to be the worlds softest shooter, if that’s true and and shoots softer than my sti, I’ll be impressed.
@anonypersona31894 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say it's a "soft shooter." It's very similar to a Glock 19 but just with better ergos. Your staccato would put it to shame.
@ethan01453 жыл бұрын
I doubt it’s STI soft; but it shoots very, very, flat.
