I did this and used this on my table saw Bench Dog. Unfortunately after dismounting the 1400 from the Bench Dog and using it on another project, I couldn’t get the router to power on. Took it apart and the trigger mechanism was jammed full of saw dust. Took a bit but got saw dust out and now works fine. Saved a large repair bill as would have need to send to Indiana….

Can you please share what kind of screw driver for the screws of the OF 1400 base plate? Will a normal philips screw driver work?...

I use just Philips or a pozidrive as well

You can buy the new Skil router as a replacement for your Craftsman Professional router. It’s the same model only updated and you can find it for $99-129. Hole pattern probably the same too.

I really was hoping to get an answer for maybe an integrated lift system for the of1400. I bought it but i did not knew they didnt sell the router table anymore. Now im kinda struggling on what to do because i use the router more upside down then from above. And i dont like with how you have to adjust your height here. If someone has a solution to this just comment on me pls
