I'm 59 and have been using the same Rock Chucker since I was 15. I would say I have gotten my hay-hauling money's worth. Thank you for the video.

In my opinion this is one of the best single stage reloading presses on the market

That Sir is one solid looking reloading bench! Well done. Correctly mounting your reloading equipment is a critical setting up step that most reloading videos skip over. A properly mounted press is vital for safety, consistency, and accuracy. So thank you for taking the time to make and post this very informative and well presented video. I'm sure many viewers who are just starting out reloading will really appreciate it. You selected the correct fastening system to mount your press with: thru-bolts, nuts & washers. A+ for that. Helpfull tip (not critcism), please receive it in the spirit it's given (helpfullness). Next time "hold" the bolthead with the wrench and run the nut up tight with the socket. Was waiting for you to shear one of the the boltheads off LOL. Hoping you didn't of course. Applying torque the way the fastener was designed does make a difference. Stronger, tighter, more secure mount; less stress on the bolt; less effort on your part.

...I bought a Rockchucker 50 years ago through the post rod & gun club while on Duty in Germany in 1973 - I still have it...I mount my presses on a slab of plywood and use large 'C' clamps to attach it tothe table - makes it easier to move if necessary...

I used to have a complete big Dillon set up and went to a smaller set up like this when I worked on the road. I haven't reloaded or let alone been shooting in a few years now.....using the small set up is relaxing

Excellent comment I have 3 Dillon presses, For rifle cartridges I prefer the single stage press

Awesome video skeet! Its such a great feeling when you get a press mounted and ready to start pumping out some pews. I started with the Lee single stage press and moved on to the Lyman t-mag turret press, but I am no stranger to RCBS and their products. I have the 505 scale and primer tool and they work flawlessly, I do one day would like to have an old Rock Chucker. Anyways keep up the great work, look forward to the next one!

Good video. Informative. What I would like to know is what spacing you find to be best for shelving on your bench. In the process of planning a bench build and could use a little help in planning. Also would 2x6 be adequate for the legs? Thanks for the video, John

An inline fabrication plate would have been a great application here, could have saved the bench destruction

Great video, I guess you could've used a Lag screw, like the ones used on decks, maybe? 👍

I've got an RCBS thrower and a Lee press, I like the handle set up on your RCBS better! Great.....Guess I'm going press shopping..... lol

You might want to look into the RCBS rebel from what I understand the primers fall out the center of the ram instead of all over the floor like the rock chuckers

In the big picture, it is better to somewhat recess the bolts, so you don't roll your leg on them. Nice hammer, haha.
