I think you'll notice what I noticed with the MP215. The power increase isn't mind-boggling. The usability of the power is what I've come to appreciate. The power band is so much easier to use. I can let the clutch out from a stop, and I don't have to give it the gas. It just goes. Torque, right off the bottom, for days. Feels like an old school V8 with an automatic. Also, that badge looks BOSS!

I had a Mountune MR300 Focus ST that was savagely quick between 4 and 6 thousand revs. When I first test drove a stock RS, unbelievably I was slightly underawed as I was expecting a substantial improvement. I ended buying an RS already fitted with FPM375, and feel it's almost a must buy, or maybe how the car should've left the factory. I don't want anyone thinking I'm having a pop at the stock car. It's not just about going quick in a straight line. Top video as always Adam. 👍🏼

Has this car been driving around west Belfast recently? I've seen a blue rs with the matte black montune graphic towards the bottom of the doors. If so I must say it looks and sounds amazing!

Hello Adam, love the video and I can understand why you have gone mountune. You need to get yourself the mountune cat back system which will compliment it. I went for the Remus option due to having part issues with mountune but I’m sure you will have no issues. 🙂

Hi Adam, Great content as usual. I have the Mountune hardware, intake, recirc valve and ssc. I've approached this like you did. I wanted the colour hoses, and the induction pipe with the silver Mountune writing rather than all black. Now after the 375 tune, but went to a mountune pro dealer and they said I would need to buy the complete kit. How did you get around this having bought all the hardware previously? I see in the intro you have the relevant paperwork. Did you have to buy the tuning box for them to put the tune on? Thanks in advance and keep up the great content. 👍🏼

Hi Robert, your dealer has told you wrong. I got the calibration only FPM375 which doesn't come with a tuning box - the tuning box version is M375 which isn't warranty friendly. I can give you the exact product code from Mountune that you can take to your dealer: 2536-FPM375-BA Focus RS FPM375 upgrade kit (calibration only)

Hi Adam, The first dealership couldn't/wouldn't do the calibration. They even told me they don't do Mountune, despite the Mountune site stating they do. So I tried a second dealership who said that branch couldn't but their other branch could, but they never got back to me. So I asked a bit further away at Tim Norton Ford who replied very quickly and said they do, can and happy to help. So booking in for end of May. Looking forward to it, tho was harder to sort than I thought it would be. Thanks again for your help 👍🏼

Glad you got there in the end Robert. I did have some issues of being ignored etc in the past as well but I am pretty well sorted with this dealer I have now and the contacts I have so hopefully now you are in the same position. Enjoy!

Hello Adam .. I wonder if you could help. I’ve got a mk3 rs with factory fpm375 fitted.. Recently I removed the mountune re-curculating valve and fitted a forge dump valve. Now hears the question , do you think this could actually slow the car down or is it just All in my head😩 .. I could be and am sure I’m imagining it but the bite to me just doesn’t feel the same.. Any help or theories would be well received … Many Thanks 🤔

What's the USA version of the fpm375? I only see the m380 kit.

It may not exist if Ford didn't want to do a warranty friendly stage 1 with Mountune there

I notice more blow off noise than my stock rs is that from the intake and filter it the 375?

The noise you are hearing will be the combination of the open ended filter and the removal of the sound deadening from under the bonnet

I can tell you it doesn't mess it up. And being covered under warranty if it did then they would fix it

Michael Hesford it’s a very cheap performance upgrade to be warranty friendly . Well worth it in my eyes 👍. I had it on my FRS a decent difference on standard 👌

@@AdamRainey i have to go from glasgow to newcastle,not too far though.are you going to do oil changes etc yourself?i always do that to keep my engine good,hope its easy on the rs
