Really fucking hate this iron banner game mode...Its so cringe, you either get a 40% chance a team mate who doesn't dunk motes, 40% a team mate who grab a lot of motes and die to enemy, and the 20% with a good one. Not to mention a ton of people giving away heavy for free.

I feel like it's worth trying this on Prismatic instead of just void. As long as you have any strand ability selected you'll produce a tangle when debuffing an enemy with Slice. You'll also be able to proc stylish executioner to go invis off of the kill against a debuffed enemy (from slice) rather than needing to use another ability for the invis. Not sure it'd actually be better but you could also use an exotic class item; I'd probably go with either Inmost Light plus Coyote or Ophidian plus Coyote. Coyote giving you 2 dodge charges to trigger slice more often just seems very good. Main "problem" is you'd need to use smoke to go invis aside from defeating a debuffed enemy but that shouldn't be too bad. Inmost Light + Coyote would probably be best at keeping up the ability loop though Ophidian obviously had the handling advantage and such.

Good point on marksman vs gamblers dodge and prolonged invis. I use 100 strenght and marksmans, bc I'm alreday invis when closing in on opponents. Graviton gives 100 % faster strength when invis, so you get it back really quickly.

Its possible to make a tangle on Strand and Prism after defeating them with a Strand ability, or Killing a target with a Strand Debuff on those subclasses. If your on Solar, Arc, Void or Stasis. A tangle will not spawn. Tho slice will still proc

If you're a good PvP player and know how to use Controlled jump I believe it is VASTLY superior in terms of the mobility it provides for you in terms of being able to change your movement in the air. Makes it much better for dodging enemies and repositioning in 3D space. However like in my case I only ever use triple jump in PvE and don't play enough PvP to have ever bothered actually learning to use controlled jump instead. Trying to swap between modes is just not viable in that case.

Wallah, I’m not sure it works with weapon perks that activate it, but you should be able to Proc Stylish Executioner with Slice on Prismatic.

I just wish Prismatic had a good reason to NOT run the decoy, its the one thing about its playstyle that i dont like and its so good you're basically throwing without it. Heck, I'm already "throwing" because I like running smoke/duskfield or threaded spike/duskfield instead of like, swarm nades. I love arcstrider, revenant, and to a lesser degree strand hunter, and I really just ultimate want a mix of stasis and arc. But with the fact that they both use your class ability, there's no good reason to run both the stasis and arc aspects together on prismatic... and, well, nobody sane is going to be using the worst melee ability in the game (shurikens) if they're not forced to, so threaded spike is just a better version of that unless you feel like using three abilities (two of which have a longer cooldown than a duskfield grenade, SHURIKENS). to proc a single freeze that a warlock does with one. edit: I suppose the best way to describe it is... I like prismatic hunter, when the playstyle isn't "Disengage: the game" with nothing but radar manip BS. Which is why i never liked decoy on strand, and why i dont like void hunters.

It actually presents a different strategy, him slaying out provides an insane amount of crests, and his opponents will most likely be pressed to focus him down while his teammates can focus on collecting crests and depositing. Both games his team won by a good margin, so it's not like this strat doesn't work 🤷🏽‍♂️

Matador is better by default. Killing wind isn't terrible either and it's second best in slot, i use the same roll cause idc about farming an Opening shot one.
