There still has to be a solid hierarchy otherwise anyone can hijack the “authority” and make up whatever they want. The “mournival rule set” should be handled by the same set of creators and pass its authority down to their chosen protégés from the heresy community when the time comes. If one guy dies (like Alan Bligh) or abandons the hobby we can see how things fall apart.

Chris Bennett I would feel a bit upset knowing that I'd brought 20 of the guys at resin price but that would quickly be replaced with the selling of my organs to get more. New MK2 plastic in revised poses would be so good, MK 1 would be better though 😜

I'd envision them looking more heavy set than space marines and their height being half way between space marines and primaris, maybe primaris size to allow for the size in minis now.

We adapted the Heralds of Ruin rules for Kill Team in Heresy. Its decently balanced, we started with 100 points, which is around 7 Tacticals and a Sergeant. I can really recommend that, they wrote rules for most basic units and we have been updating them for ourselves as FAQ and new units came out

This has been such an inspirational conversation for me. Ive been wanting to branch out from my Night Lords and Dark Mechanicum armies but not wanting to fully commit to 3000 pts ish.

Finally been able to get my hands on a hardcopy via ebay (well used, beaten up for a minor ransom). This is the most excited I've been about a 'HH book' in probably a decade. 👊🏻

This is what im talking about. 30k needs an injection of creativity like this. The talk gave me the same "rabbit hole" vibes that got me into heresy in the first place. Is there any way to potentially get involved with this stuff? So cool.

Do you think Armoured Breakthrough would be fluffy for the iron warriors? Of anti fluffy? (Dont care about meshing well with the rules competitive etc only fluff)

Very very fluffy. Im building my own one now. Iron Warriors Legion Tactics work especially well with 'mounted' infantry. Should their transports get popped and the units get stranded somewhere inconvenient. Your Iron Warriors are going to keep marching towards their objective regardless of incoming firepower. You can also drop lone infantry squad into cover on an objective and be fairly confident its going to sit pretty and do their job.

Great video guys you reminded me of the salamander story strike and fade short story from the HH very narrative kill team after the massacre. With the new 9th edition models coming out I may use my older model as my new 30k legion army imperial fist/ black Templar legion.
