I mean yeah. I badly want to play the game like right now but I learned my lessons during BATDR. BATDR took a long time to make and once it came out, it looks incredible. The Fleischer cartoons created a new wave of video game art style. Platformers have _Cuphead_ and now shooting games have _MOUSE._ Imagine a turn-based RPG game with the style of 1920s cartoon.

I just want to start out by saying that I love the whole aesthetic of this game! It's so unique and refreshing, and it really stands out in this endless sea of shooting games we're drowning in as of late. Having said that however, I do have some criticisms, primarily with the enemy variety. Enemy visuals play a subtle, yet significant role in fast-paced FPS's; allowing players to instantaneously differentiate each enemy type and their threat level at a glance. The "dog" and "flying" enemies are excellent and easily distinguishable in a crowd, but the "goons" (the basic enemies with bats and guns) all look way too similar. The only visual differences between them is clothing and weaponry. Which is fine in a game with bright, vibrant colors; but in a game with a limited black-and-white color palette, they really blend together in a crowd. Even something simple, like changing the melee attackers into big brutes that tower over the gun-slingers would go a long way to add some visual assistance for the players. But, this game is still in development after all. I know all of you are working very hard to create a great game and I'm really looking forward to its release! The player's ability to quickly distinguish enemies is crucial and something we are currently working hard on. Making a game in black and white is a challenge, so some things will require some compromises, but your point is spot on! Thanks for drawing attention to this!

Hi Fumi Games, just wanted to say that MOUSE is looking AMAZING so far and that me and my brother are looking forward to playing it. I also wanted to suggest an idea for a boss fight: how about a battle against a giant hawk or other bird? The bird boss could fly around the screen throwing items that the player has to either shoot or dodge. This boss could be based off the hawk from the Silly Symphony cartoon titled Birds of a Feather. I just wanted to suggest an idea for your game, which I think could be a really fun addition to make it even better. Keep up the fantastic work!

This is simply stunning. I have one suggestion though. I know a lot of people won't feel that way and that monochrome is the way to go with this style, but I would also like to have an option for turning on color. I do realize that it translates to a good bit of extra work, yet monochrome has a way of growing tiresome on the eyes after a while.

If I do have a couple of complaints, it would be that the Opacity of the 1930s cartoon filter should be more visible, along with how the audio should sound less high quality, to elevate the old-timey nature; but in saying that, this game looks so sick, keep up the good work, y’all!

This looks interesting! A Fleischer-styled FPS is interesting territory for a game, and while Cuphead already exists and does the aesthetic quite well, there IS always room for more games with this sort of art style. The visual flourishes in the HUD and the use of 2D sprites for enemies also gives a neat look, kinda reminds me of the original Doom in some ways. I’m excited to see where this project goes!
