Bro my experience, I used everything but all failed. Took the car to the company mechanic, discussed the problems and I asked him to note me down the possible ways the rat could enter the interior cabin, both from front side and back side and under chassis possibilities. Then took the car to the nearest accessories shop, asked him to remove seat, and whatever the air holes he said to open, then we pasted or mildly welded thick steel mesh, that rat cant bite or enter. After this rat stopped entering the cabin of the car. But in the front engine bay, we must regularly use the car and tobacco leaves, rat repellent spray ,etc are the only options. And on top if engine and under the chassis I used to keep rat trap glue pad whenever I have doubt.i caught rat once that way too. I know the pain of spending money for the blood rat bite.
