I would recommend trying the mousse last. For my routine, I put the gel first then just go over the top with a bit of mousse. It helps reduce the stiffness and increases volume for me.

@@Tamosolovely28 hi I did the ufd and then the mousse but I did find that it made my scalp really itchy and it would flake. Just recently I used innersense i create hold gel and then I put the mielle mousse on top and no flakes and my scalp wasn't as itchy

@@Tamosolovely28 you're welcome. I have been using innersense hair products for awhile and they are pricey but worth it to me you can to there website. Also I got a curly cut which helps with my wash and goes. Also i follow black curl girls on Facebook and they give tips and they have where you can buy some martial that can help as well. But with good quality products that work for your hair and being consistent you will do good

I liked it but 🤣i like my hair not poofy since when curled it is at my neck sorta and i know you like it not flat👀only suggestion i have to probably get your wanted look is if a product make hair stiff or really drying use a thick leave-in conditioner that moisturize (normally some shea moisture product) 😅as for the crunch um it could work or a oil (maybe idk i don't like my hair greasy just like it moisturized) Buuuut I feel like you should try it again maybe different product options it could've been just needing a thick product to avoid the stiff

I really wanted the mousse to work for me but it’s a no for me. I used it 3 times, once for a wash and go and twice for perm rods and my hair was dry and frizzy every time. I’ve seen it work nice on others so I know it’s a good product just not for me . 🤷🏻‍♀️
