You have definitely opened up the possibility of caring for our elderly loved ones, whether wheelchair bound or not on the same property with family. I believe the longer they can hang onto their independence is wonderful for mental and physical well being! Great video to show possibilities of caring for family. ❤

In alot of states you can't add another septic you have to tap in to the existing. That is what we have ran in to in our state. It was a measure about not being able to divide properties. We are building an adu, but it has to be movable, and we have to connect to the existing septic. It is kinda dumb. We are here to help out aging parents. You have done a beautiful job! Love the ideas ❤ that stairwell is pretty neat!

Thank you. Interesting. I don’t know our states rules but it tends to be more lax on everything than most states. And we are outside city limits, but who knows

❤I’m really impressed with everything you’re offering to your family well thought ❤In my family my father is 83 and even though he’s able to walk he can still have the possibility of falling and to reduce that accident my sister’s and me take one day each to stay with him and like that he still has his freedom another thing is that they’re redoing his bathrooms and one thing that I was so upset with my sister’s is that they forgot their doing this for an 83 year old man so he needs every handle that they can put to prevent the falling of course he’s very stubborn and went with a whole tile bathroom so it was a little difficult to add the handles but they manage🤭❤Love You Blessings❤️ 😂😂(that also explains the change of scenery which I thought you move from your house😂)

I would like to live in a little house like that in the future. It would require property with no deed restrictions where I live. My mom was in assisted living and it took her social security and her 4 kids to pay for her private apartment for several years, then hospice less than a month. My husband has health problems and I will take care of him as long as I can. We moved to a one story house but it doesn't have all the handicap features your current house has.
